Brandeis will be operating and holding classes during the fall 2020 semester and has updated the academic calendar with classes beginning on August 26.
long8游戏The university will announce in early July whether classes will be in person, online or a hybrid format. No matter the mode of instruction this fall, Brandeis students will have an experience that incorporates quality teaching and scholarship, comprehensive academic support services and community building.
Adapting to COVID-19 requires that we be deliberative, creative and agile. Faculty are participating in the Hybrid Teaching Institute. Student Affairs staff are developing new ways to engage students outside the classroom. And Brandeis alumni are planning to support students and graduates with mentoring, networking and even jobs.
As we get closer to final decisions about the fall, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and the community we interact with is foremost in our minds. We are closely following guidance and protocols from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the federal government.
long8游戏As a university founded on principles of inclusion and openness, we are committed to providing an equitable and accessible experience this fall for all of our students, faculty and staff.
