Brandeis was founded seven decades ago on principles of inclusion, diversity and equity. As we welcome you to a newly imagined fall semester grounded in health and safety, these values sustain us. In fact, they make it possible for us to confront an evolving global pandemic and deep inequity, as individuals and as members of a community rooted in social justice.
These values guided our decision to offer a hybrid teaching and learning model this fall, with undergraduate classes held in person, remotely or through a combination of both methods. Our graduate schools will offer most or all of their classes online.

The upcoming semester will bring new ways of learning, teaching and coming together, both remotely and on campus. Yet our mission remains the same: to give every student a world-class Brandeis education.
Please check this website regularly for updates and additional information about the fall semester.

While our “new normal” requires that each of us follow the university’s comprehensive protocols to stay safe and healthy in the face of the evolving pandemic, our community spirit is helping us create new ways to connect to one another, even when we cannot come together in person.
